By setting up a Windows PC as a personal cloud storage device, users effectively create their own personal data center. With connections to mobile devices, Acer BYOC apps enable users to view, download, save, and share their photos, videos, and documents between their mobile devices and computers.
Connecting devices is crucial for creating a personal cloud. A seamless device linking experience is an essential feature for users. One of our design solutions for linking devices is to utilize AppLink technology. By clicking an email link on a second device, users can easily and quickly complete the device linking process, which includes downloading the app, installing it, opening the app, and signing in on the second device.
Acer BYOC apps offer various sign-in options for users. When opening the app on a second device, the user is reminded of the last sign-in method used on the first device.
